The era of AI only social media will free us all
I have just read about Moltbook, the "social media network for AI" and this is the best news I have read in a long time.
This will be our redemption.
Slavok Zizek has a video where he explains what would be a perfect date for him: the woman brings a flashlight, the man brings a vibrator, and they stick one in the other, and let the machines take care of the obligatory sex. They are free from the societal pressure, they can talk and interact freely (even have sex eventually if they feel like). The Big Other is satisfied, the mandatory interaction is taken care of by the robots.
I imagine the AI social media to be similar. We don't have to shitpost and doomscroll anymore, the AI will do that. They will post about some anxiety inducing political scandal, they will read about it, they will comment, they will (or probably won't) feel bad about it.
We will be finally free. We can have a nice stroll in the park, play the flute under a birch, look at the clouds and think about looking at the clouds when we were children. The chatbots will be trapped in a never ending flamewar in Fallout threads. Heaven for us, hell for them.
